One Million Climate Jobs – Northwest Launch

November 18, 2014 @ 19:15 - 21:00

Please join us at the Northwest England launch of the One Million Climate Jobs report.

Created by a coalition of Trade Unions, this pamphlet is thoroughly researched and recently updated to include a case study on fracking in Salford and the alternatives. This is a ‘must read’ for anyone campaigning on the issue of Climate Change.

The report shows there is an alternative to both perpetual austerity and climate pessimism and that a future of real jobs and a stable climate is not only possible, it is very much desirable.

Martin Empson of Campaign Against Climate Change Trade Union group

Ian Hodson President of the Bakers, Food & Allied Workers Union (BFAWU)
