Press Release: Route and speakers announced for march on Sunday 9th March

downloadFrack Free Greater Manchester is now able to confirm the route and speakers for Sunday’s rally and march against fracking, which we hope will be the largest yet seen in the UK.

The rally will start at Piccadilly Gardens from 12PM.

Speakers in Piccadiily Gardens will include:

Ian Hodson – the Bakers Union – first national union to oppose fracking

Laura Bannister – NW Green Party
Clara Paillard – PCS Union
Helen Rimmer – Friends of the Earth
Daniel Evans – Barton Moss Camp
Penny Hicks – Manchester People’s Assembly

Campaign against Climate Change Trade Union Group
Trafford Breathe Clean Air Group

At 2PM we will march along the attached route to Cathedral Gardens where there will be further speakers including:

    Lets demand a Frack-Free Lancashire,how dare they vandalise our earth for their profit,putting our health at risk. I will be at the rally and I hope it makes the news and we get the message across loud and clear !
